SIGTERM was marking the app quitting immediately, so the Mac frame pump stopped before LogoutRequest and the simulator kept the agent in the region. The first signal now runs the normal logout. A second signal still forces the process to exit.

Apple's GL thread segfaults in glGetQueryObjectuiv when a query never becomes available after the viewer is backgrounded. On Darwin, a timed out query is deleted and the objects stay visible. The result is read only when the driver says it is already ready.

Darwin CMake keeps the MacPorts Boost 1.88 -mt paths when that prefix is present. Otherwise, or when DARWIN_PACKAGE_MANAGER=homebrew, it uses brew prefixes, unsuffixed Boost libraries, and no boost_system link. Media-plugin install names, the app bundle, and freealut follow the same split. The viewer no longer links libvlc, so a finished app does not need the VLC disk image mounted.
